The Center dispatches the medical interpreter certified from the Center in the Project "KOTOSAPO".

◆Medical Interpreter Dispatching Service by Kyoto City

　We are sending interpreters to four hospitals in Kyoto City. This service is free of charge.

◆Medical Interpretation Service for Pregnant Women

　This service helps foreign pregnant women have a safe and comfortable childbirth in Japan. Our interpreters are all trained and certified for medical interpreters specialized in obstetrics. This is fee-based service.

◆Phone Interpretation Service

　Well-trained interpreters support you through a phone.  This is partly fee-based service.

◆Translation of Administrative Documents 

There are various necessary forms and official documents to live in Japan.  One of our goalds is to break the language barrier through translation of these documents. This is fee-based service.

◆Medical Interview Sheet Translation System (M3)

M3 will help you receive proper medical treatment. You can take medical interview in the selected language on the Internet before going to a hospital. Please select your symptoms in English and M3 translates them to the other languages. The results will be displayed in two different languages on your demand. Print the results and take them to a hospital or transfer to your cell-phone. This service is free of charge.

◆Other Translation Services

We offer translation services for brochures, letters, articles, questionnaires, etc. This is fee-based service.

◆TackPad

In this site, we create and share a medical-related dictionary that is useful and necessary for us. Let's cross the border of countries and languages and intercommunicate on medical treatments and languages!
